The Curated Mods Program is an official initiative by Urban Games to showcase, support and promote the best community-created mods for Transport Fever 3. From day one, players will have access to a carefully selected collection of high-quality, technically reliable, and visually polished mods, coming from some of the community's most experienced modders. By combining creator creativity with developer-level quality standards, curated mods provide a premium modding experience right from the start.

What Are Curated Mods?

Curated mods are top-tier community creations from the most experienced and trusted modders, carefully selected by Urban Games and made visible in the in-game mod hub. To ensure developer-quality standards are met, they undergo strict reviews for technical stability, visual quality, and content presentation standards, to ensure a smooth and reliable gameplay experience. For players, this means that these mods integrate seamlessly with the base game’s visual style, comply with all relevant guidelines, and serve as inspiration for future mods.

Why Curated Mods?

Modding has always been at the heart of the Transport Fever series. With Transport Fever 3, Urban Games is taking this legacy one step further, creating a structured, long-term program that allows for sustainable collaboration between outstanding modders and the developers. By introducing this program, Urban Games also wants to give back to the community and honor the creativity, talent, technical skills, and countless hours of work that go into expanding the Transport Fever series.

What Does the Program Mean for Modders?

The Curated Mods Program gives dedicated modders the opportunity to create even higher-quality content with exclusive support from Urban Games. Participants receive early access to the game, benefit from close collaboration with the developers, and receive a financial grant for their efforts. The program is aimed at modders who want to take their projects to a more professional level and work closely with Urban Games. To join, applicants must meet specific requirements, and all submitted mods must follow official guidelines and pass a formal approval process.

What Is Required to Join the Program?

In order to be considered for the Curated Mods Program, modders must fulfill the following conditions:

• At least 10 published mods for Transport Fever or similar titles
• At least 100,000 downloads in total for all published mods combined
• At least one published mod being outstanding in some way
• Consistently high quality and user ratings for the published mods

If you fulfill all of the above conditions or have an exceptionally good reason to believe that you should anyway be considered, feel free to apply to the Curated Mods Program via the form below.

Every application is carefully reviewed by Urban Games. Please note that Urban Games has the right to decline applications at any time without stating reasons. If your application has been declined, you can apply again after six months.
