Hello!
Exciting to see the game being shown at Gamescom! I envy those who will experience it at your guy’s booth!
But it makes me wonder, is there a possibility of a demo launching on Steam prior to launch? It’s less so about seeing if the game is for me and more about just getting something to further boost my excitement for the game after this longer waiting period since the announcement of the game 😀
Either way, excited to see what will be shown and said at gamescom even though I personally can’t make it, as for the launch date, there is this saying that we are always closer than we are farther away.
Thank you very much for your kind words. we’re sorry to hear that you won’t be able to make it to Cologne in person!
I hope you understand that, at this point, we can neither confirm nor deny any of our upcoming marketing plans. However, let me assure you that there will be some very exciting news around gamescom time, even if you’re not there in person!
Hey UG!
The comment section is rather empty here so I thought I’d throw out a blunt question:
Episode 5 of the First Look series is titled “Highlights”. Does this mean the First Look series has now concluded? Are we not getting any First Look videos anymore?
I am so sad about the Gamescom timing. I have to leave the Netherlands on the 25th of August to go back home with my kids after visiting family. Any later and I would’ve been able to visit and give you all a big fat excitement hugs!
Not professional of me, but hey, you’re building something amazing!
Thanks!
Awesome, see you there! 🙂
TF2 was a brilliant game but after a bunch of years the economy was its major issue, basically even an average player would become extremely rich like applying a cheat of infinite money no matter the difficulty level.
I hope tf3 won’t fall short in the same way.
Balancing the way the game’s economics work is a near impossible task since players will always find the most direct routes to achieving financial rewards. Either it is simply too hard to make sufficient operating revenue, and your game stalls, or you create massively profitable routes that mean you never need to worry about money. While the new game addresses the economy and improves the balance, we know that earning a huge balance alone won’t prove to be enough of a challenge for players who learn the optimal routes to success. That is why we think of the financial side of the game as the “early game” goal. Once you are making enough to cover costs and expansion, the challenge then switches to moving passengers and goods in such a way to grow individual towns. When you’ve accomplished that, the goal becomes improving the efficiency of that supply so that you maximise the approval of those towns if you want to grow them to maximum size.
I just love this game and this studio so much! I dream of joining them someday 😉
Adding events like casualties (not detailed for obv reasons) making you have to buy a new train and requiring a response team could be an intresting addon- not handeling emergencies can lead to fewer line or company use
Yesssss! The news we’ve been waiting for. Waiting for more reveal and news on this.
Hello, Transport Fever 3 Studio. I am an ordinary Chinese player who has seen Transport Fever 1 to Transport Fever 3 in recent years. Each game is a huge leap forward. Now, Transport Fever3 will be released. I hope you can develop a major release and earn a lot of money from players. Most of us players hope that you can join the railway dispatch system and uncoupling system, such as buying a locomotive from the garage and having it tow the carriage to a designated place, and then uncoupling the carriage to be pulled by another locomotive. We believe that it can become a milestone in railway games, making the railway more complete and qualified to become a member of FanaticTransport 3. In many games, there is no such system. We want you to make them. We believe that the advantages of joining it include 1. making the train change direction naturally. At the final station of the train, the locomotive in Transport Fever often makes a direct U-turn and joins this system. The train can unhook the carriage and enter the other end of the railway, then turn to the other end of the carriage and continue to pull and change direction. This can make a real leap for many players’ marshalling yards. Transport Fever 2. Marshalling yards built by players often have little effect and only fit the preferences of landscape players I hope you can add two functions: uncoupling and shunting I hope that the games in the Crazy Transport series can help you develop better and better. Finally, I would like to thank all the creators of Crazy Transport for allowing us to play exciting games. I don’t have any hope for your reply. If you are willing to reply to me, please answer me. This is one of the railway developments I most hope to achieve. Thank you, dear Transport Fever 3 production team
Hello, I was wondering, will the passengers also wait for their own “Line” or will they take the next train that also goes to the same station, but on a different “line”?
What languages are supported for modding? Only Lua?
Will there be a change of seasons in the game?
In the blogs i have seen diffrent seasons, so I suppose so 😀
There won’t be different seasons as such, however you do have control over the clouds and whether it is raining. This can be set to cycle automatically, or stay fixed to whatever kind of ambience you prefer.
I have played SOOOOO much transport fever 2.. Making me fall in love with the game since minute 1. I am hyped when any blog or news releases and I’m checking every day if the release date is already announced as my wallet will feel it 😛
I love how they will improve signaling and hopefully you’l also be able to have platform 5a & 5b as now those are 2 diffrent platforms while it isn’t really a diifrent track. I also like the ability to mod the game since day one.
I was willing to pay and go to germany JUST TO PLAYTEST and know more about the game but I’m unable to make it… I suppose a lot of creators will tell about it and that a blog (partialy) about gamecom will be released.
LOOKING FOWARD TO NEW NEWS.
Can players in Transport Fever 3 customize the map size, instead of the maximum experimental map being only 24×24? We want larger map sizes, as it’s not nearly enough for us railway players. We really hope the Transport Fever 3 team can consider this issue.
This is something we’re still evaluating. It’s one part due to performance considerations, but additionally, if you go beyond a size the game can handle, the whole simulation is likely to break. We’re testing more sizes before making a final decision, but for now please assume the sizes will be the same as in Transport Fever 2.
I’m curious to see what “surrounding the trade fair” entails and what else will be announced.
