We are proud to reveal the one-of-a-kind Curated Mods Program! Players can look forward to a rich selection of high quality mods that provide a smooth and reliable gameplay experience already on day one. To ensure this, only modders with a proven track record are approved to participate in the program, and all mods must meet specific quality and eligibility criteria. It’s not just about new vehicles, but nearly every feature has been developed with moddability and cross-plattform support in mind.
To complement the existing and handpicked modder team that has been working hard already since the beginning of 2026, applications are now open for new creators to join the program. It provides modders with early access to Transport Fever 3 and supports them with dedicated developer support from our studio and a financial grant to honor their work. More details, including what the program means for both players and modders, can be found here.
Furthermore, and to ensure that Transport Fever 3 reflects as much player feedback as possible, multiple rounds of closed beta testing have taken part over the past few months. The first round of console beta testing will also begin rolling out shortly. A big thank you again to everyone that initially signed up for the beta testing back in 2025. We got an incredible number of more than 30,000 participants – that’s why unfortunately, we can not accept any more applications at this time.
Thank you for your support and participation in the Transport Fever series over the past decade and beyond – we cannot wait to see what else you will create for Transport Fever 3!
If you’re as excited as we are, don’t forget to add it to to your wishlist here.

So sad I didn’t make it into the beta rounds…
but hopefully the game will be released soon. Or maby even early access? I hope I can finally buy it soon… or even pre-order.
This game is the reason I wake up in the morning
There is still time to be selected to join the beta – each round uses a different group of players. If you applied to join us in testing last year there is still the opportunity to be selected. We have many times more applicants than we can handle, but we’re not done with the beta yet.
That’s amazing qnd sad at the same time!
This means that 1 (the sad part) the game is still further out, and 2 (the good part) There is still hope for me to get selected.
I appreciate the reply. I hope you have a nice day.
A huge thank you and much respect to all the truly great modders! They’re the ones who keep us playing. I know this from Farming Simulator! Unfortunately, you also find bad modders there who create things that don’t work well or are even broken. Mod theft also exists there, sadly. I hope that theft is prevented as much as possible so that modders can continue to enjoy modding.
Thanks for the update. I’ve been hitting refresh on this site daily for weeks. Maybe you can put out some more content to satisfy those eagerly awaiting its release? Thanks Again!
We’re trying to release information when we know it is going to be close to 100% accurate. While this slows the pace of announcements down a little, it does mean that the updates we release are close to the reality of how the game is. While working on polish and optimisation, the game takes on its final form and that can result in many small changes that can render details released earlier to become less-than-accurate. We want to ensure that you can trust what you read about the game which means we need to take our time to get it right.
I wish the game would come out faster, but at the same time, I understand that testing is important primarily for us players. Urban Games does not want to release an unfinished game, now such a desire is not common, but the stronger the desire, the more understanding that the game will be adjusted to all the desires of the players at the time of release. 1800 hours in TF 2 was enough to learn everything about the game: try out a large number of mods, figure out the intricacies of mechanics, expand cities to the limit and even be an artist. Before I met TF 1, no tycoon game had ever “sucked” me so much. It was only in TF that I was able to find everything I could want.
Will there be any news on a possible release date or release window for the game
We’re hard at work making the game the best it can be, and as we’ve said all along, we’ll only release it when we’re confident it’s in the best possible condition. There won’t be any hints at a release date until we announce the release date (at which point hints won’t be necessary). We know how keen everyone is to find out when we’re releasing, but we don’t want to give any false expectations.
已经迫不及待了,什么时候能上啊,太着急了
The game is progressing really well, and beta testing is ongoing. We know how eager everyone is to know the release date, and we’re on target, but you’ll need to be a little more patient. It will be worth the wait!
I have 1,969 hours in Transport Fever 2. Can I participate in the next round of testing?
Applications to be part of the beta test were closed last year and we had considerably more players sign up than we can possibly accommodate. If you signed up, you may be selected for a future round of testing as we still have further tests to perform, if you missed out last year, then unfortunately you’ll have to wait for the full game release to get your hands on the game.
For reference, we have already selected a massive range of players to be part of the beta tests – all levels of experience, many different play styles and hardware configurations. We want to get the opinions from as wide a range of players as we can, and what we’ve received already has been extremely helpful.
